Since 2010, he has worked in various law firms and collaborated with numerous international organizations. As an expert, he has cooperated with the EU, UN, and several international advisory organizations on projects for justice reform and e-justice tools development. He has also taught at the Academy of Justice and the Academy of Advocates.

He received his advocate license in 2012. Vahagn is an arbitrator at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia (AMCA), a member of the Association of Arbitrators of Armenia, and the permanent arbitration court under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia.

Since 2014, he has been teaching “Civil Procedure” at the Faculty of Law, Yerevan State University, where he currently serves as a lecturer and associate professor in the Department of Civil Procedure.

Vahagn Grigoryan is the author of several monographs and scholarly articles and a co-author of textbooks.

Education

He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Faculty of Law, Yerevan State University. From 2012–2015, he studied at the YSU postgraduate program in the Department of Civil Procedure, earning a PhD in Law. In 2019–2020, he studied at Uppsala University, Sweden, obtaining an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and and was awarded the Swedish Institute (SI) Visby Scholarship for high achievement.
